SALE! season

SALE comes every season for a reason!

I hate going for sales! But honestly at F21 it feels like a sale everyday. I've never seen that store maintained, Sale or no sale. It's a sea of cloths to go through and nothing fits right :( I was in no mood to drive all the way to Zara, simply because their stores are in malls so far away in no mans land. Yes you guessed it right! for someone who grew up in a city its nice to go to the center of the city where you can do all types of shopping, where I can pick up both branded and street side things :)

Now I'm not saying I won't go to Zara, and I did eventually end up at the Zara sale! It's just that at the start of the sale season I was at F21. Like always I made 5 rounds around the store, I tried on twenty outfits and discarded most because of the fit. Finally like always the first pick is the right pick and I couldn't let go of the top. But like always no matter what you buy at a sale we have to end up buying something non discounted, and I found those denims with the back zipper which were so cool. So I just gave up hunting through the merchandise when I realized I have an awesome pairing. I know I'm being exhausting describing my shopping adventure but it doesn't stop there, see my favorite accessory brand was on sale too. ALDO was on sale and something about their accessories just make me so happy. Picked up 2 sunglasses, an eternal weakness laid to rest.

maxi skirt

Breezy days in a Maxi

Maxi skirts are the easiest DIY fashion project, you just need an extra large piece of fabric and an elastic for the band and your almost done. Yes I did fall in love with the print and I had to make it a project. after a long stretch of the exhausting festive season at work and not feeling well after that, I just needed to feel good about something that instantly cheers me up. Also with the military styles being in trend it only seemed right to pick on my jacket.

Khaki or mustard? You decide

Easy Peasy

So it's been a while, but when I took these pictures they were just some test shots. I don't think I've figured out how to wear this shade of khaki, Its not a muted tone yet it is really bright and striking. Ok I know at this point you would think the mad cat took off. But there is something about this pant that I've not been able to put my finger on.

I know I'm saying khaki but it's really a shade of mustard, Yet I say khaki probably because the cat in my head is running in circles. It's been a while since I bought the pants, But I never seemed to figure out the colour. Hence never seemed to pair it with anything. Then one final day when I was staring into my wardrobe feeling like there is nothing to wear, I pulled out the pant and paired it with a cream top. Unhappy as always I pulled out all the black and whites only to end up with such a no fuss kinda ensemble! I've been very fussy when it came to buying floral print but this shirt seemed to ace my happiness!

Shirt : Inmark
Pant, boots & hairband : thrift

After so many years of having extra long hair I'm so grateful to be able to make a bun ;) Forgive my childish excitement but I had to show off my first attempt at the bun. I'm still feeling like this post is an illusion, I was just up to my randomness when I took these pictures, the pairing came together like bread and butter. Hope you like the idea!
